The United States Billiard Association (USBA) will hold the 2013 Three-Cushion National Championship at the Allen Hopkins Super Billiards Expo (SBE) from April 3 to 7, 2013, at the New Jersey Convention and Expo Center in Edison.

FOLLOWING on from his undefeated run through the recent US Open 9 Ball Championship, SHANE VAN BOENING cemented his place at the head of the American 2012 PartyPoker.com Mosconi Cup rankings to secure his spot on the team as one of the top two automatic spots.
The TAP league, one of the largest and fastest growing amateur billiard leagues in the United States, will be making a encore appearance for their national championships from November 3rd thru the 6th at the Embassy Suites Convention Center in North Charleston. TAP last held their nationals there in 2009 and the players loved the area so much that TAP has decided to make a return trip back.
With Pro Player Deuel in attendance, presenters are certain other pros will follow suit. The steeper entry fees plus $5,000 in added money are sure to attract players, fans, and enthusiasts alike.

What an exciting day for Houston’s billiard community. For the first time the USBA would hold an Open Tournament attracting some of the best players in the country including current US National Champion Pedro Piedrabuena. Twenty-eight players prepared to do battle over three days with the promise of an extremely excting final.

Nationals Juniors Pool Month may have been in September but the fundraising efforts continue. Last month, Simonis Cloth made a $500 contribution to the Billiard Education Foundation (BEF) in support of their national campaign. In addition to their kind donation, Simonis also proposed a challenge to the industry and players.

The 50th Annual Southern Oregon Invitational 3 Cushion Billiard Tournament was just completed at the historic Medford Elks Lodge. Sixty players participated in the team event, and nearly fifty of those players also took part in the three Singles tournaments that took place simultaneously.

Marietta, Georgia- Long time veteran Warren Kiamco did what so few players have ever been able to do, completely dominate America’s top player Shane Van Boening in the finals. Van Boening who is so accustomed to winning on US soil, was completely hammered by the smooth, finesse style of Kiamco. The Scorpion Cues Johnny Archer Classic is a Dragon Promotions production and sanctioned by the Association Of Billiard Professionals as an ABP International Points Ranking Tournament and hosted by the Marietta Billiard Club.
