Bob Keller -Passes away at age of 98

When i first met Bob Keller, i realized what a great person he was. He was the guy who invited me to come to Madison to play ” his tournament” in the cozy billiard club, founded by Bob. He was a big inspirator for the whole billiard scene in and around Madison and even further away in the USA and thanks to him, the Madison Open turned into a well-known billiard event around the world.

With pleasure i remember our dinners we shared together in accompany of some nice friends.  What a great ambiance and it was awesome having talked to him and his lovely wife. I enjoyed very much our moments together.

Dear Bob, you reached an incredible age and i was impressed getting to know you as a very friendly and interested person. When i heard the news today by my good friend Mazin Shooni, i felt shocked.

I am sure your life was full of rich and wonderful experiences, and you had led a happy life. We are all grateful having known you as a very good person who put so much into our beloved billiards.

I will never forget you Bob and i will remember you as one of my good billiard friends and thank you for inviting me to your tournament which i have fond memories of.

Rest in peace Bob and i wish much strength for his wife and whole family.

We will miss you for sure.
