WPBA MASTERS:  Another Eight Are Eliminated – Sixteen Players Remain
WPBA Masters action continues at the Soaring Eagle Resort & Casino where another round in the one loss bracket has eliminated eight more players.

MT. PLEASANT, MI – The WPBA Masters 9-Ball Championship third round of the one loss bracket is complete. Defeated players finished 17th, including Grand Ledge, Michigan’s own Vicki Paski, who suffered her second loss at the hands of Norway’s Line Kjorsvik. Vivian “Texas Tornado” was upset 9-8 by Canadian Jana Montour. Winning players below are guaranteed a spot in the final 16 and play their next elimination round at 3 p.m.

MT. PLEASANT, MI – (February 8, 2013) Bristol, Virginia’s Janet Atwell upset #8 seed Jennifer Barretta 9-5 to advance into the top 8 at the WPBA Masters tonight. Round Three results saw eight players advance to tomorrow’s 1 p.m. round. Matchups will include #1 ranked Allison Fisher v. Helena Thornfeldt, 2011 World Masters champ Jasmin Ouschan v. USA’s own Monica Webb of Atlanta, GA; newly inducted Hall of Famer Jeanette Lee v. the “Irish Invader” and fellow Hall of Famer Karen Corr, and Korea’s Ga Young Kim vs. Janet Atwell.

The WPBA Masters 9-Ball Championship first round of the one loss bracket is complete. Winners of the following matches will compete to stay alive in this evening’s rounds. Losers finish 25-32.
