Queens, New York – Billiard industry giants Championship Cloth, Olhausen Tables, and Aramith Balls are joining together in support of the oldest tournament in billiards at the Predator 72nd World Tournament of Straight Pool. Championship Cloth has been selected as this year’s cloth for the first time, while Olhausen comes on board for the second straight year. Aramith has been the ball of choice for the event for all seven years now since the World Tournament’s revival in 2006. This year’s event, July 29 – Aug 3, 2012, will be the biggest international 14.1 event in the world. Dragon Promotions, in partnership with Dr. Michael Fedak, will once again produce this event which will take place in New York City at Carom Cafe in Queens. The well renown billiard room will host the greatest straight pool players from around the world. Sixty-four top-notch 14.1 masters will arrive on American soil and attend this prestigious event to play for the coveted title of greatest straight pool player in the world.
