IN SEARCH OF CUE - DEAN - E ™

2009 DR. CUE INTERNATIONAL TALENT SEARCH

~ IN ASSOCIATION WITH ~

DR. CUE CLASSIC ARTISTIC POOL "SPORT & SHOW" TOUR,
RACK FOUNDATION, AND ARTISTIC POOL PLAYING ARTISTS (APPA)

This unique concept is in honor of Dr. Cue's close friend David "Dean" Edwards (1950 - 2006). In 1998 Dave won the BCA National Open 8-Ball Championship in Las Vegas, NV. Shortly after that "Dr. Cue" made a suggestion that Dave take on the unique pool playing entertainment moniker of Cue - Dean - "E"...due to his sterling victory and "escapade" against over 1300 players. Dave never used this nickname attachment; therefore, it seems only fitting to present it in an appropriate manner respective of Dave's contributions and ambassadorship within the billiard industry, plus his attraction to and fascination with Artistic Pool ("trick shots and so much more").

Cue - Dean - E ™ is defined as follows:

CUE - relating to highly spirited Dr. Cue "table trotter" presentation style

DEAN - relating to the middle name of both Dave Edwards and Tom Rossman

E - relating to Entertainment, Education, and Enlightening aspects of performer talent

In Search Of Cue - Dean - E ™ is an innovative promotional concept within the billiard industry open to all players and fans of our sport, giving many who would otherwise never enter the artistic pool arena for fun or competition the opportunity to "express themselves" in this beautiful sport discipline and "artistry" of life. A simple online audition submission process will be used to select 8 Artistic Pool Playing Artists coming together for a magnetic audition "final" in late 2009 at the signature Dr. Cue Classic Artistic Cup III event held at a specially selected US site.

The overall Search promotion will be enhanced by special Cue - Dean - E ™ awards and guaranteed prize fund payouts, plus a unique "reunion style" gathering of players, fans, sponsors, media, special guests and a great "family of friends" within our sport and beyond at the finals.

Note: Cue - Dean - E ™ audition performances may include any variety presentation that is billiard related and should contain some "shooting expression" when done in conjunction with singing, juggling, and other unique ideas on or near the pool table.
